About Our Venue

We're thrilled to be your number one dance venue in Raleigh, NC.  Loafers has been providing some of the best Music, DJ's, Dance Lessons and Social Dances for 31 years.   Owners are Gary & Deborah Gibson.  Located right off Wake Forest Road, at 605 Creekside Drive, Raleigh, NC.....  Loafers is available for private parties as well.  Check us out and plan your next outing at Loafers.

It's important to us to keep our tickets reasonably priced. We're waging a war against the middleman markups that so frequently occur in this industry. Come by our ticket office (and see Deborah) or call us at 919-743-5332 and purchase up to three days prior to show date. You can also purchase tickets the day of the show at the door if available. Just know that seating is limited, and we can't guarantee availability for more popular functions.

Our schedule

West Coast Swing Dance Lessons every Monday night.

Shag Lessons on Tuesday nights.. Four week sessions start the first Tuesday of each month at 7pm

Wednesdays:  Door opens at 5:45pm for Loafers After Work Mingle.  Dinner, Shag and WCS

Thursday:  7pm: Country Night: lessons and dancing  Thursdays. 

Friday Nights:  West Coast Swing Lesson &Social Dancing with a DJ:  8pm

Saturday Nights:  Shag Nights with a DJ:  7:45pm

Sundays:  Closed except for special events
